MICHAEL AMSBAUGH is the President of Medicare Sales at UIP, a resident of Springfield, OH, Michael is one of the most sought after medicare field trainers in the country. His ability to duplicate himself and place agents in an upward trajectory is unmatched, having personally trained several one-hundred plus annual application producers himself.

JOSH BENSON

Josh Benson is the Chief Operations Officer at Innovative Financial Group (IFG). He met Founder Tyler Rees and CMO Ryan Strathmeyer growing up together in Pennsylvania. Josh played football at Albright College in Pennsylvania, worked in Dallas, Texas, and was then recruited by Tyler Rees at IFG headquarters in Wilmington, NC.

A perfectionist by nature, Josh was inspired by his grandfather, a college football coach, and his father, a manager at IBM for over thirty years. As a result, Josh understands the true meaning of discipline and work ethic. As an operations officer, his experience as an agent has helped shape his leadership style.

Josh carries the knowledge that no man is an island and appreciates having a team that he can trust to get the job done. When asked what excites him most about the future of IFG, Josh smiles. “It’s hard not to be excited.” He is invigorated by the exponential growth of IFG and the centralization of our goals that enable us to scale quickly.

“We’re in the relationship business,” he says, and understanding the human behind each team member and their best fit in the organization helps us maintain a work environment that is both energizing and productive.

RYAN STRATHMEYER

Ryan Strathmeyer is the Chief Marketing Officer at Innovative Financial Group (IFG). Hailing from Central Pennsylvania, Ryan grew up alongside best friends and fellow IFG founding partners Tyler Rees and Josh Benson. Ryan got his start in operations for Nationwide Insurance in 2013 before relocating to Washington, D.C., where he worked with Travelers Insurance as their Senior Account Manager of Global Technology Underwriting.

Ryan joined Innovative Financial Group full-time in 2016 to complete a trio of critical relationships at the heart of IFG's success. "Relationships," he says, "are the most important asset you can have."
